Throughout his career, Steve has built a reputation for creating specialised vehicle concepts designed for demanding African conditions and long-distance exploration.

In recent years, Steve spent three years developing and marketing bespoke AWD Motorhomes for Mercedes-Benz South Africa, where he played a key role as a production specialist, helping bring premium expedition Motorhomes to market.

Building on this experience, Roam X Expedition Vehicles marks the next chapter, focusing on more extreme, purpose-built expedition units designed for serious overland travel and self-sufficient exploration.

With its first two expedition builds entering production for 2026, Roam X is positioned to deliver a new generation of high-performance expedition vehicles engineered for the toughest environments.
